The Story
Lazy Day Vacay was created when we saw the need for a more intimate approach to vacation property management. We were doing some research for our own rentals and came across many properties managed by large companies that were underpriced and had poor reviews, mostly around home up-keep and communication. Because we are enthusiastic about home design and guest experience, we knew we could do better. Owners and guests alike need to know the space is well-loved and be able to see the pride in ownership, whether you live down the street, or across globe. And as an owner, you can be confident your guests and home are completely taken care of by someone who is personally invested.

How does Lazy Day Vacay differ from other property management companies?
Too many companies lack clear communication with guests and owners, have confusing fee structures, and price too low simply to keep occupancy up. We are in the business of keeping all guests and owners informed, responding quickly, providing clear pricing, and maximizing revenue.
How do you market the home and book guests?
We are Superhosts and Preferred Partners on Airbnb and VRBO, which helps to ensure your listing is at the top of the search results. In addition, we actively reach out to previous guests and invite them to stay again. We want every guest to feel welcome back again and again.
This is my first time renting my home. What do I need to know?
We love first timers! It's a chance to make your home completely perfect and functional for guests. We will work with you to ensure the home is stocked with everything needed, get some great photos, and create a private owner's area for your personal belongings. After that, we start welcoming guests!
Are there any long term contracts associated with using Lazy Day Vacay as a property manager?
While we hope to work with you for years to come, we do not require a long term contract. We do ask that you give us a 90 day notice if you decide to leave us, and honor any reservations within those 90 days.
